Arundhati Dixit

I am employed at Goldman Sachs as a Strat with the Market Risk team. I primarily work on asset or portfolio modelling, pricing and prediction using internal and macroeconomic variables. Prior to this, I worked at American Express as an Analyst for Strategy and Decision Science with the Risk Management team on building strategies for new accounts, transactions and payments for the Corporate portfolio, Global Markets.

I graduated from IIT Delhi in 2020, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor Specialisation in Economics. I have a strong foundation in programming, and have always gravitated towards math and logic because of their ubiquity and my innate fondness for the intellectual challenge they pose. During the course of my undergraduate degree, I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Nomesh Bolia for my B.Tech thesis, Prof. Saptarshi Mukherjee and Prof. SB Paul for courses and projects in Economics, and Prof. Anant Agarwal at OSU for my summer research internship at the High Voltage and Power Electronics lab. I had an enriching experience as a Summer Analyst with the Cost Engineerring department at Daimler AG in Kawasaki, Japan during my third year.
A couple of new projects that I am working on include Evaluating Ethics in HCI, particularly dark patterns, guided by Prof. Jyoti Kumar, and microeconomic analysis of platform design. Please find details about my research experience here.
